Job Description
- We are recruiting assistants to start Fall 2024 to work on a horizon scan of marine invasive species using a modified EIACAT protocol (no experience necessary).
- The students will be working with AUNE faculty, and collaborators at other organizations.
- The research will involve extensive investigation of the literature, and development of a priority list of species for monitoring.
Qualifications
- BS in natural resources management, aquatic biology, fisheries or wildlife management, or related biological field;
- Experience with database management and programming.
- A strong work ethic, good communication skills, attention to detail, interest in marine science with management implications, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently are critical.
