Method to assess remote work: We will review their work directly in a new software system called Simple Syllabus - review that syllabi content has been created or copied to the correct location in the new system. This will be via weekly check in meetings.

Job Description

  • Help us modernize the Antioch classroom! We are transitioning to a new platform called Simple Syllabus, and we need someone who is detail-oriented to help us transition to this new platform. You’ll take existing course content and build it into our sleek new digital templates.
  • What You’ll Do: Review current syllabi (PDFs/Word or Google docs) and transfer key info into the new system. Ensure formatting is clean, professional, and accessible. Help faculty hit the ground running for the new term.
  • Expected Hours: After about 2 hours of training (learning the new syllabi management tool: Simple Syllabus), you can expect to spend between 5-10 hours each week reviewing current syllabi and transferring syllabi data into Simple Syllabus. About 1 hour each week will be spent with your supervisor to review your work and make sure you feel confident in your work.

  • Skills Needed: High attention to detail, basic Tech-savviness, and a love for organization.

  • Location: Remote / Hybrid (wherever you have a laptop!).

Qualifications

  • Experience with data entry or content management.
  • Strong history of administrative or "detail-heavy" work.
  • Familiarity with Antioch’s existing tools (Google Drive/Brightspace).
  • Is reliable and focused.
