Dr. Ali Corey
Assistant Professor, Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Prior to joining Antioch University, Dr. Ali Corey was an Assistant Professor at Hodges University based in Naples, FL where she designed and coordinated a fully online CACREP Accredited program. Additionally, she was a visiting professor at The University of Baltimore and served as an adjunct professor at multiple universities for 5 years before joining UB. In the more than a decade that Dr. Corey has been practicing counseling, she has owned her own private practice, worked in a group practice, acted as the clinical counselor in 5 different schools (K-12 levels), was the director of a school based mental health program, practiced as a college counselor, and served as the assessment counselor in the ER for a behavioral health hospital. She currently provides clinical assessments for Bradley Hospital, the oldest children’s psychiatric facility in Rhode Island. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Supervisor in the states of Maryland and Rhode Island. On a personal note, Dr. Corey lives in Bristol, Rhode Island with her husband and three sons and enjoys spending time at the beach, doing yoga and fitting as much quality time in as she can with her boys.
