Cynder Sinclair, DM, has been leading nonprofit organizations since the early 1980s. She founded three charities to address the needs of farm worker families in the San Joaquin Valley, she served as ED/CEO for the Child Abuse Prevention Council, the tri-county Girl Scout council, and the Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics. Through her consulting firm, Nonprofit Kinect, Cynder provides support to nonprofit boards in governance, strategic planning, and fundraising as well as coaches business and nonprofit leaders, and serves as interim CEO for nonprofits during a leadership transition. She hosts the television show, 805 Focus, where she interviews nonprofit leaders about their mission. She also teaches nonprofit management for several universities and writes a column in Noozhawk focusing on nonprofit issues.

Cynder received her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and her Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and her Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Fresno. Over the years she has served on many human services boards of directors and advisory committees.
