Registration for Non-Matriculated Students
If you are not an admitted student at Antioch, there may still be opportunities for you to take classes. Details vary by location and program. We recommend contacting the Student Services office at your intended location for more details.

FAQs for Non-Matriculated Students
Can I take a class without enrolling in a graduate program?
Yes! You can register for a course as a non-matriculated student. Please note: Only six (6) credits taken as a non-matriculated student can be applied to a degree program, subject to approval.
How do I enroll in a course as a non-matriculated student?
You can view a list of available classes on this webpage. Click the blue "Request this Course" button on the course description page to submit a request to join the course. A member of the program will review your request to determine if your educational background and professional experience meet the course's prerequisites. If approved, and space permits, you will be admitted to the course and notified via email.
What classes can I take as non-matriculated student? How do I register?

If you’d like to register for a class from the Academic Catalog that is not on the list for non-matriculated students, you should contact the academic department to request permission to take the course. The catalog lists all courses that are currently considered Active. These classes are not taught every semester, but are normally offered during the academic year.
Are there any requirements for non-matriculated students?
Non-matriculated students should also be aware that all enrolled students are required to have computers with Internet access. Many courses will make extensive use of Internet communication, and library services will be provided electronically. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you have regular Internet access.
