Program Overview

Antioch University Seattle’s Adult Education program is offered as a concentration of our Master of Arts in Education or as a stand-alone certificate. You’ll receive the tools to create and implement educational experiences that meet the needs of a variety of adult learners.

Students have the opportunity to interact with highly experienced instructors who have professional experience in the field of adult education. Classes are dynamic and engaging and they bring theoretical concepts into hands-on practice. The program includes plenty of opportunities for personal mentoring and networking.

Our internship is a unique and integral feature of our program and we are committed to helping students find placements that align with their professional goals. We offer a student-centered approach—both to our candidates and to the students they will be serving. The program is personalized to students’ unique needs, interests, and career goals. It appeals to adult educators interested in a variety of settings.
