I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Having traveled extensively, I believe this area to be the most beautiful corner of the planet. Originally a marine biology major in college, I continue to follow my passion for the ocean as an avid swimmer, beachcomber and scuba diver. I also enjoy hiking in the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges.
