I strive to support students’ personal and professional development in a way that balances individual variation and harnesses the group experiences available in the classroom.

I believe that learning takes place within individuals and among groups through socially constructed means. Therefore, I aim to provide somewhat equal emphasis to group discussion within the class and the completion of tasks outside of class. My aim is to create safe learning environments where students can explore and develop their own clinical style that blends one’s personality and personal experience with evidence-based practices and foundational theories.
