I work with individual adults and young adults, as well as children, couples, and families. I am a firm believer in the transformative capacity of skilled and caring counseling and therapy. My work with individual clients and families includes addressing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, including sexual or physical abuse, relationship challenges, and living with health challenges.
Clinical Supervision:
The important work we do cannot happen in isolation. While the practice and art of counseling and therapy take place in a very private space, we attend to our clients and ourselves through collaboration and support from supervisors, mentors, and peers. In this aspect of my practice, I provide consultation and clinical supervision for other clinicians.

As I am fascinated and compelled by adult/andrological models of learning, I believe my strength as an instructor has been a natural inclination to pull from my own experience to formulate compelling examples for students, and to likewise invite student experience into the lecture and practice, modeling a value for the students’ lived experience. The goals embedded in Antioch’s Applied Psychology curriculum are for students to come closer to an understanding of holding multiple perspectives. A highlight I find for both myself and for my students is that there is a dimension of acquiring additional levels of competence and expertise that requires some patience with the intuitive and unconscious process that is operating and developing as we are consciously striving to learn.
