Cultivating Wonder and Resilience

From music to visual art to movement, you will learn to see the child through many lenses. By developing your capacities for observation and imagining how to help a child in non-verbal ways, you will become a better teacher—a teacher who protects and nurtures your students’ capacity for wonder and presence.

A Supportive Learning Community Centered on Social Justice

Each cohort of students in the Waldorf Programs at Antioch New England comes together as a tight-knit community of adult learners. Our graduates enter their own classrooms with already-developed skills as good, collaborative colleagues. And we place a special emphasis on issues of social justice both in our pedagogy and in the communities we serve.

Three Paths to Becoming a Waldorf Educator

Building on our deep history educating Waldorf teachers, we now offer three different ways for you to get your MEd in Waldorf Education: a year-round program, a summer sequence, and an MEd with a Transdiciplinary Focus on Healing Education. We also offer several certificates in Waldorf education.

Advanced Healing Across Disciplines

For experienced Waldorf teachers seeking to deepen their practices through artistic and contemplative forms of inquiry, we offer both a Certificate and a Masters of Education with a Transdisciplinary Focus on Healing Education. Become a part of this revolutionary shift in how educators are teaching, inspiring, and encouraging the next generation of learners.
