PhD in Leadership and Change Degree Requirements

The PhD in Leadership & Change is a post-MA full-time 63-annual unit program, with a minimum of three years to candidacy. Students have a maximum limit of seven years from the date of entry to complete all degree requirements. Forty units must be completed prior to the student being eligible for candidacy and four units are awarded for the approval of the dissertation proposal, 19 units for completion of the Doctoral dissertation.

The program is structured around Learning Modules, such as Reflective Leadership,   Ethics in Inquiry and Leadership, Organizational and Systems Change.     For each module, residency sessions are supports by required and individualized reading, peer dialogue virtually and face-to-face, and faculty mentored and evaluated assignments that demonstrate achievement of goals.
