Disability Student Services

We offer a full range of student support services for our geographically dispersed doctoral students. The Program Office provides many of the student service functions that would typically be dispersed among a number of different offices and divisions at a larger university. We believe this ‘one-stop shop’ provides direct and intimate support for the students. We look forward to providing our students with the best service possible.

Antioch University has a Disability Support Services (DSS) Office on each campus to coordinate services for students with disabilities. All students requesting reasonable accommodations must register with the DSS Office and may be required to submit
documentation of disability from a health care professional. All accommodations are determined on a case by case basis, since functional limitations can vary uniquely.

If a student with disabilities believes she/he may require reasonable accommodation(s), please contact the Program’s Disability Support Services Coordinator. Those students with documented disabilities, diagnosed by a qualified professional, and disclosed to  the coordinator for student disability services, may request and be accorded reasonable accommodations that will allow them to participate in the institution’s programs and services.

To request reasonable accommodations, please contact the PhD Program Office at 937-769-1360 or email Vickie Nighswander, Coordinator of Student Disability Services, at vnighswander@antioch.edu.
