PhD in Leadership and Change Writing Center
The Writing Center is an on-line hub for students who want help with their writing while in the Leadership and Change doctoral program.
When Should I Use the Writing Center?
If you feel stuck in your writing process, need a refresher on the revision process, are procrastinating starting a learning achievement, need advice on style for a tricky citation, or if you plain-old need help figuring out where to begin, the Writing Center is the place to go.
What is in the Writing Center?
There are interactive billboards, links to videos and helpful sites, a blog with tips and inspiration by Dr. Elaine Gale, director of the Writing Center, and a library of information to keep you informed, motivated and confident about a wide range of topics, including how to stay organized in a doctoral program, using academic styles and writing in an academic voice.
What is the Goal of the Writing Center?
The goal of the Writing Center is to provide information, motivation and inspiration for students by holding a safe, fun and invitational space online for our students who need help or have questions about their writing style and/or content or who want to trade ideas or tips with each other and get writing assistance and support in a safe and non-judgmental open forum.
