Academic Internships and Course Projects

There are many ways for AUNE students, faculty, and staff to integrate CGC into their professional experiences. Members of the AUNE community have designed programs and workshops, assisted with demonstrations, created evaluation techniques, completed master projects, built garden beds, helped with social media, and have been an integral part of making CGC what it is today. Contact us for possible involvement including professional internships, class projects, capstones (theses or collaborative, interdisciplinary team projects) and volunteer opportunities relating to environmental education, landscape design, conservation psychology, agroecology, applied research, community organizing, and organizational management, among other fields. We hope to expand interest and active involvement across disciplines and departments over time.

AUNE Student Employment

Community Garden Connections efforts are largely supported by CGC Co-Coordinators, funded by the Federal Work Study program and a grant from the Rashti Foundation. If you are interested in becoming a coordinator and are an Antioch Student with or without Work Study hours, please visit AUNE’s Federal Work Study Job Openings for a full job description and feel free to contact us.
