Angela is a counselor and PhD student in the counselor education and supervision program at Antioch University. Angela has a private practice, “The Clarity Couch Counseling Services,” which specializes in providing services to individuals that represent marginalized communities. Angela’s research interests include anti-racist clinical practices, the strong Black woman schema, and racialized trauma. Angela also provides consultation and has appeared in the media as an expert speaker on topics related to mental health, anti-racism, diversity, equity, inclusion, and Black mental health.
