A 2010 graduate from the program in which I now teach adjunct, I am a private practice licensed professional counselor specializing in trauma, dissociation, and sex therapy treatment. The same trauma-specific framework I use as a counselor is woven into my teaching approaches. My default setting is authenticity, which shows up both in sessions and in teaching with caring, creativity, puns, and a nerdy sense of humor. Prior to entering the world of psychotherapy, my labor history includes letterpress printing and artist bookmaking. Music plays a significant role in my life, expressed primarily through playing wind instruments in community honk bands. My favorite word is “and.”
