As an educator and clinician, I strive to create a learning environment that is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in applied clinical practice. My teaching philosophy integrates systems thinking, trauma-informed care, and experiential learning to bridge theory with real-world application. I encourage students to engage in critical thinking, self-reflection, and dialogue that deepens both professional skill and personal awareness. Through case analysis, discussion, and practice-based activities, I support the development of clinical competence, cultural responsiveness, and relational attunement. My goal is to cultivate clinicians who are not only skilled and ethical but also deeply attuned to the lived experiences of the diverse communities they serve; therapists who approach their work with curiosity, compassion, and integrity.
