I am a dedicated integrative mental health therapist with 16 years of experience. I have a deep passion for helping individuals achieve balance and harmony in their lives, and it is the driving force behind my journey into psychology. I am committed to merging traditional therapeutic techniques with alternative modalities to address whole-person wellness and make it accessible to all.
After earning my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge, and acquiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification from the Florida Institute of Technology, I embarked on a career path focused on family and child therapy, emphasizing compassionate science-based behavioral modalities. My focus shifted to including somatic and existential trauma work with adults, and I combined this milieu of evidence-based practices to support holistic care that considers the whole being. I am in a PhD leadership program at the University of the Cumberlands. I plan to apply these skills to connect my local communities to accessible and tailored mental health services that meet the needs of individuals and families.
Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations, including individuals struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, parenting struggles, and relationship issues. Her expertise includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, Family Systems Therapy, Parenting, Mindfulness, Somatic Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I am committed to positively impacting mental health and hope to foster a sense of possibility for my students to address societal challenges and improve the world around them.
