Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this position to provide support to the programs within Antioch University Graduate School of Nursing and Health Professions. Duties require excellent communication and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and coordinate multiple tasks.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Provide administrative support to the Dean in the administration of all programs and activities in the Graduate School of Nursing and Health Professions including monitoring budgets.
  2. Oversee purchasing as needed in compliance with Antioch University protocol.
  3. Assist program chairs in course and schedule building, textbook orders each semester
  4. Coordinate database needs for GSNHP and collaborate with Institutional Technology, Enrollment Management, and Office of Institutional Effectiveness staff and develop reports as needed
  5. Provide specific program information as needed for prospective students when directed from enrollment management office.
  6. Collaborate as needed with GSNHP application processor, Associate Director of GSNHP admissions, and marketing team
  7. Maintain GSNHP faculty and student compliance records for external accreditation
  8. Support GSNHP external accreditation efforts in collaboration with the Office of Accreditation and Compliance
  9. Provide Human Resources with needed information, forms, etc. necessary for hiring and onboarding new faculty and staff
  10. Attend School meetings and program meetings as needed
  11. Participate in planning events for GSNHP such as commencement, etc.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher preferred.
  • Three years minimum of program support; preferably in nursing and/or allied health

  • Able to work independently, organize, handle detail, follow-through and problem solve with minimal supervision, in a complex administrative environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google suite of office applications, and related web tools with willingness to learn new software applications
  • Experience in academic institution preferred

Hours of Employment

This is a full-time non-exempt position serving a national university.  The work schedule will be established in consultation with supervisor. Evenings and/or weekend hours may be required. The typical work week is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Work Location

This is a remote position working from a home office.  Some travel may be required.
