What sets our Bachelor’s Degree Completion Programs apart from anyone else’s?

Antioch has small, interactive classes, individualized advising, and variety of flexible learning formats. These were designed to accelerate students’ time-to-completion and transform their lives.

  • Internships: Internships and practicums are field-based learning activities that take place in an applied setting (business, community organization, high school, senior center, etc.). The student is evaluated by the internship/practicum supervisor.
  • Prior Learning Credit: AUSB students have the option of earning college‐level credit for learning done outside of college. Prior Learning Assessment is the process of earning college credit for college-level learning acquired from other sources, such as work experience, professional training, military training, or open-source learning from the web. AUSB accepts credits awarded through Learning Counts.
  • Independent Study: If eligible, students may propose upper and/or lower-division level topics to explore and receive credit upon satisfactory demonstration of learning and self-reflection on the topic assessed by an AUSB approved expert.

Your Antioch experience will include:

  • Personal Attention: Our small class size and academic advising model allow us to get to know you as an individual and help you plan your degree and career path.
  • Flexible Scheduling: With morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend classes, plus a variety of non-classroom learning options you can create a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
  • No Waiting Time: You may apply for any of our four quarters (Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring) throughout the year, and will receive hands-on assistance from our Admissions team with your application.
  • Class Availability: Because of our unique combination of quarterly offerings and multiple flexible learning options, you will never have to delay your graduation due to difficulty in getting the classes you need to complete your degree.

Concurrent Enrollment

With advisor approval, an undergraduate student can take credits at SBCC while enrolled as an Antioch student. The student must complete the Concurrent Enrollment Agreement form, which should be accompanied by proof of registration at the second institution. If the student passes the course(s) with a grade of “C” or better, the units are transferred to Antioch and are recorded as transfer credit. Concurrent enrollment allows students to receive financial aid through Antioch University for all registered units from both institutions.
