Antioch University will be launching new Management Certificate options in 2019. Each Certificate focuses on a different, but critical, aspect of creating, leading, and building successful businesses and non-profit organizations, and provides you with the knowledge you need to take your career in exciting directions. Antioch’s Management Certificates are offered 100% online and earn graduate-level credit. They include:
- Management Certificate in Leadership and Teams
The Management Certificate in Leadership and Teams is designed for individuals who wish to advance their careers by developing strategic and tactical expertise in managing and leading people, and high-performance teams. Earning this Certificate is an effective way to develop a solid understanding of leadership thinking and application, developing and strengthening people in organizational settings, and building and fostering dynamic, effective, teams.
Management Certificate in Sustainable Systems
Antioch University’s Management Certificate in Sustainable Systems is designed for individuals who wish to advance their careers developing, leading, and implementing sustainability initiatives. Earning this Certificate is an effective way to develop a solid understanding of triple bottom line thinking, and how to integrate sustainability practices into organizational strategies and operations.
- Management Certificate in Finance and Economics
The Management Certificate in Finance and Economics develops proficiency in the principles of financial management, including an understanding of the framework of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Certificate will study the evolving accounting, analysis, and reporting systems of sustainability accounting. In addition, students will examine the complexity inherent in the process of determining how societies and economies decide, utilize, and prioritize resources.
- Management Certificate in Organizational Strategy
The Management Certificate in Organizational Strategy helps students become adept at leading others in effective strategic thinking and execution, and in fostering innovation and resilience — at an organizational level, and in two other important functional areas. Students will develop an understanding of strategies and techniques applied in marketing and communications. Students will also study critical aspects of operations and value chain management from new product development and process design to forecasting, logistics, and supply chain and information management.
- All courses are 100% online
- Each Management Certificate consists of three 3-credit courses
To earn a certificate, students must successfully complete all three required courses, earning a total of 9-credits, during one 16-week semester.

To apply for a Management Certificate, you must already have earned your associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.
The application will include:
1. An online admissions application, which will also contain:
- Essay question
2. Submission of official transcripts from the college or university where you earned your associate’s degree.
Certificate Programs do not require the GRE or any other standardized test for admissions. We consider all of your application materials and evaluate your academic potential in a variety of ways. There are additional requirements for International applicants.
