Kaitlyn Bathel, MEd, received her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Applied Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2007 and a MEd from the Clinical, Counseling, and School Psychology Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2011. She is also a credentialed school psychologist in California.

In addition to teaching courses at Antioch University, she currently holds an adjunct faculty position at Westmont College, as well as providing psychotherapy for a day treatment program for adolescents with mental health challenges. Her research interests include child and adolescent development, social, emotional, and behavioral assessment and intervention in schools, and advocacy for under-represented groups.
