Appointments

First Steps

To set up your first appointment, please complete this form. If you would prefer to speak with someone directly to set up an appointment, please give us a call at 603.352.1024 or email us at [email protected]. Please do not include sensitive health information in your email. We will try to answer any questions you may have about the process, therapy, or the appropriateness of the match.

We will conduct a 20–30 minute phone interview with you to determine what services may be best suitable to you and your needs.

An intake session is then scheduled so that we can learn more about what brings you to therapy and if we can meet your treatment needs. You will then work with your clinician to develop treatment goals for the year.

Prior to your first session, we will send our registration and consent forms through DocuSign. If you would prefer to complete hard copies of these forms, please let us know and plan on arriving about 20 minutes prior to your first session.

There may be times when we are not able to meet someone’s treatment needs. When this happens, we will let you know why and share with you other resources in the area.

Canceling an Appointment

If you cannot attend a scheduled appointment, we ask that you call to cancel at least 24 hours in advance. If you miss your appointment for reasons other than illness or emergencies, we will bill you at the agreed upon hourly rate. We will discuss the late cancellation or no show with you and collect these fees at your next session.

Personal Commitment

We believe that it is important that you maintain a personal commitment to therapy for successful treatment to occur. Therefore, we ask that you keep all of your scheduled appointments. If you have a change in your ability to commit to therapy, please let us know so that we can work with you.

We are aware that emergencies arise and you will be unable to attend your session. In the event that you cannot contact us because of the nature of your emergency, please contact us at your earliest convenience once the emergency has subsided.

Fees

We are committed to making services available to people affordably, regardless of income. Fees are based on a sliding scale and the client’s (individual, couple, or family) income. We accept cash, checks, or credit cards for all of our services. Because we are a training clinic, insurances will not credential with us. This means that you will be unable to bill your insurance company directly; however, we are happy to provide a summary of your services if you would like to try to be reimbursed by your insurance provider. Fees are due at the time of service.
