AUNE’s cohort educational model fosters close relationships and a strong sense of community. Students participate in a range of activities and groups related to their academic programs, interests in governance, activism, community outreach, or other areas. Future student initiatives are limited only by the imagination and drive of those who want to start something new.

Antioch Bird Club

The Antioch Bird Club is a group of students, faculty, and staff interested in birds, birding, and ornithology. Our goal, is to raise awareness about avian conservation in the AUNE and Keene Communities through experiential learning.

AUNE Garden

The Antioch University New England Garden is a collaborative effort that began to coalesce in the spring of 2009 in order for community members to combine ideas and projects on Antioch grounds. The Garden is part of the local food movement, in addition to providing educational opportunities for Antiochians and local youth.

Beyond Injustice Group (BIG)

The Beyond Injustice Group (BIG) is an interdepartmental student-run group committed to reducing social stigma, raising awareness of local social justice issues, and reinforcing community involvement and outreach.

Institute for International Conservation (IIC)

The IIC’s mission is to promote sustainable and just global conservation solutions. The IIC achieves this mission by conducting conservation research and service projects with partner organizations, uniting students and professionals to grow the next generation of environmental leaders, and engaging AUNE and the New England community in understanding our global interdependence.

Counselors for Social Justice

The mission of the Counselors for Social Justice group is to seek equitable access, fulfillment of human needs, and an end to oppression and injustice affecting counselors, clients, and other social and institutional systems.–>

Justice Leadership Council

JLC is an advisory council to the Provost’s office with representation from all departments, programs, and offices on campus. In response to the students, staff, and faculty voices in the past years, we are striving to honor and build on the work of our predecessors and current allies to systematize AUNE’s social justice mission.

Net Impact

The Antioch University New England chapter of a global organization for graduate business students, who want to use business to create a positive change in the world. Net Impact provides networking opportunities for students and business leaders that share a vision of progressive business.

Student Alliance

The Student Alliance aims to increase student participation in decision-making processes, community service, and social events to build a strong and diverse learning community within the Department of Environmental Studies, Antioch University New England and beyond.

The Support Group for Ethnic and Racial Diversity (SERD) 

A Department of Clinical Psychology group to promote multiculturalism in communities.
