I believe that learning takes place within individuals and among groups through socially constructed means. Therefore, I aim for a balance between group discussion within the class and the completion of tasks outside of class. Under the assumption that I am responsible for the preparation and facilitation of the classroom, I hold that adult students are in charge of their own learning. Overall, my hope is to foster open learning environments where everyone can feel comfortable sharing their experience.
