Assistant Professor Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Antioch University New England

Antioch University New England invites applications for an Assistant Professor to teach master’s level clinical mental health counseling courses, core courses shared with our other master’s-level programs, and to supervise practicum and internship students. This position involves expectations in scholarship, teaching, service, and university citizenship, and will be on a renewable two-year contract.
PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision (strongly prefer graduate of a CACREP-accredited program), license-eligible as a mental health counselor; graduate teaching experience both face-to-face and online.
Preferred qualifications include expertise in one or more of the following areas: online pedagogy regarding effective models for online clinical training, counselor development, counseling supervision models, and program evaluation. As Social justice is infused within all aspects of the Antioch programs, a knowledge and commitment to social justice is preferred.
The CMHC program is offered in two platforms – one that is predominantly on campus, and one that is online with a minimum of two required Intensive residency experiences. This position involves teaching in both platforms and requires teaching face-to-face classes on the Keene campus.
