MEd in Humane Education
The World Becomes What We Teach
Antioch University’s MEd in Humane Education is recommended for school leaders and classroom educators working in public, private, and independent K-12 schools; early childhood educators; homeschooling parents; university faculty; curriculum developers; and outreach educators. Coursework helps educators build relevance, excitement, awareness, and compassion into their teaching practice. Teachers learn to present intersectional content related to environmental preservation, animal protection, and social justice in age-appropriate ways. There is a strong focus on critical, creative, and systems thinking.
This MEd is offered by Antioch New England in partnership with the Institute for Humane Education.
