Latonya Evans, PhD, received a doctorate in Counseling/Clinical/School Psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Her specialization within that program was Counseling Psychology with emphasis in cross-cultural and diversity issues.
In addition to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology and related fields, Dr. Evans has served as an individual, couples, and family therapist and was the facilitator of perinatal intensive treatment programs. She is a published author of children’s and young adult books that promote diversity awareness and cultural understanding.
